Bintan Island is a small island in the province of Riau, East of Sumatra and easy to access by boat or ferry from Batam or Singapore. With long white sandy beaches, a multitude of coconut trees and a quiet atmosphere, yet offering full security, this resort is one of the best places to relax for a while from the crowded world. Many bungalows are provided that stretch along the beaches. Beside water-sport activities, three golf courses are available.
Due to its nearness to Singapore, Bintan island is a popular weekend destination for many Singaporeans. However, don't wonder if you are completely alone on the beach during working days.
